Alberto Barbieri

Rector, University of Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Alberto Barbieri is currently rector of the University of Buenos Aires, since 2014. Previously, he had been vice chancellor and dean of the Faculty of Economical Sciences.

He is the author of the books “Management as a key to Ibero-American integration”, published by Eudeba, Buenos Aires, in 2008, and “Health management in longevity”, published by Pearson, in 2010.
Barbieri holds a Ph.D. in Administration and a Public Accountant, with a specialization in Business Management Administration from the European Business School, in Madrid, Spain. He is an academic of the European Academy of Management and Business Economics, member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, of the United States, and specialist in Systems of Administration of Organizations and in Administration of the Health. Currently he is vice-president of Latin American Association of Faculties and Schools of Accounting and Administration, of the Conosur.
