Manuel Alvarez-Trongé

President of Project Educar 2050 (Argentina)

Manuel Alvarez-Trongé is a Lawyer, Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires, President of Project Educar 2050 and Member of the Board of REDUCA (Network of Latin American Organizations for the Improvement of Education in Latin America). He is a Professor at ESEADE University and a member of the Council of the 21st Century University. He has been the legal representative of Perez Companc S.A., PASA Petroquímica S.A., of Telefónica Internacional in Spain, of Telefónica de Argentina in Buenos Aires and of Aerolíneas Argentinas S.A. (of whom was Vice-President). He has done postgraduate studies at Harvard University and Michigan in the USA, at King's College in Great Britain, at IESE in Spain and at IAE, UADE and ESEADE in Argentina. He also holds a Diploma in Modern and Contemporary Philosophy from the Ortega y Gasset University Institute. He is the author of three books (the last one was "Negociar con la vida" Editorial Random House Mondadori) and numerous articles in magazines and newspapers in the country and abroad.
